klejenie stykowe, klejenie kontaktowe

klejenie {n} stykowe, klejenie {n} kontaktowe = Kontaktkleben {n}

It’s not clear to me why this type of gluing should be called “contact gluing”; after all, gluing always implies contact between two surfaces. Probably it refers to the “contact” between the layers of glue put on each surface, rather than to the contact between the surfaces themselves. However, that doesn’t explain why the antonym, i.e. the technique with glue just on one of the two surfaces to be connected, is called “Nasskleben” (“wet gluing”)…

Anyway, I couldn’t find a Polish definition of klejenie stykowe, and the term is rare to begin with, so it’s quite likely that a more common Polish synonym exists. It’s not klejenie kontaktowe, however, which doesn’t google significantly better, but at least has a definition (see below). Also, there’s a small probability that klejenie stykowe and klejenie kontaktowe are not actually the same, although I found nothing to support this nagging suspicion.
